Earlier in this year, Microsoft announced at its Build 2017 developer conference that Ubuntu would be available in Windows Store soon, and now the promise is fulfilled and Ubuntu is now available to be downloaded and installed from Windows Store now.
Ubuntu is an open source software operating system, and can be ran from the desktop to the cloud and all of the users’ internet connected things. Different from the traditional installation of the system, Ubuntu runs in a sandbox alongside Windows 10, and provides a series of regular command line utilities like bash or SSH. And people can now get the popular Linux distribution via inviting Ubuntu to the Windows 10.
