Free Comic Book Day goes digital with ‘Star Wars’ and more

Just because some fans would prefer read action-packed comic books in digital form does not mean that they can’t get in on the “Free Comic Book Day” freebies and deals on May 3. The Comic Book fans can choose their favorite titles or read something new from 60 different comics, such as Rocket Raccoon, Archie, Mouse Guard, and more.

As a division of Dark Horse Comics, the Dark Horse Digital includes three “Star Wars” comics bundles (four issues in each), which are all for free, also in time for Star Wars Day, celebrated on May 4. They can get free starter bundles for the famous titles “Star Wars Legacy,” “Star Wars Empire,” and “Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic.”

Other than free “Star Wars” comics, Dark Horse Digital provides comic bundles for “Star Wars” at a huge discount for the fans who want to make their comic book collections more Forcetastic. The “May the 4th Megabundle”, which has 150 digital comics for 100 dollars, covers the latest series from Dark Horse — “Darth Vader and the Cry of Shadows”, and the hit series “Star Wars”.

Many famous “Star Wars” titles including “The Old Republic,” “Crimson Empire,” and “Dark Times” are in bundle too. And the “May the 4th Kids Megabundle” includes 18 “Star Wars: Adventures”, digital novellas written particularly for young readers for 30 dollars (60 percent off the normal price listed). Both the May the 4th Megabundles appear with an special digital preview of the upcoming “Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir”, which was adapted from bleak chapters of the award-winning living TV series “The Clone Wars.”
